Meet Mariah and Daphne Our New Highland Cow Stars at Fore Saws Farm

Welcome to Fore Saws Farm! Our excitement is off the charts as we introduce you to our newest family members, Mariah and Daphne. Over the past six weeks, our family team has poured our heart and soul into laying fences and preparing lush fields just for them. These highland cows mark a thrilling new chapter for our farm, and we can't wait to share this journey with all of you!

From the moment we spotted Mariah and Daphne, we’ve been eagerly waiting for their arrival. These captivating cows are not just ordinary livestock; they are both expecting calves. Mariah’s little one is due in late September, perfect timing for those cherished holiday photo opportunities. Meanwhile, we suspect Daphne will welcome her calf around Christmas, adding extra joy to the festive season for our farm!

With their arrival today, we couldn't be happier. Mariah, our lead cow, brings a vibrant spirit to the farm. Being a few years older than Daphne, she has an adventurous personality that drives her to explore her new home. For instance, she loves to investigate every nook of the pasture and is quick to make friends with visitors (especially those with treats in their pockets). Mariah’s playful antics, have kept us smiling.

In contrast, Daphne embodies gentle grace. Her calm demeanor creates a soothing atmosphere on the farm. We love watching her graze in the quiet corners of the pasture and her gentle nature as she receives pets and brushing from visitors.

We are now gearing up to welcome a lively herd of Nigerian Dwarf Goats at the end of this month! These playful goats will add even more joy and energy to our farm, complementing the gentle nature of our highland cows.

But that's not all! We are thrilled to announce our upcoming grand opening event this September. We can't wait to welcome you to explore the farm, meet Mariah and Daphne, and discover everything we have to offer. This event is our chance to share our love of farming and animals with our community.

In the meantime, we are hosting visits by appointment to provide a personal touch for anyone who wants an early peek before the grand opening. We want everyone to feel welcome and excited about our furry friends and the heart of Fore Saws Farm!
